Very cool info. That's going to be a good read for us here at the studio. We can never seem to get our sensors spotless and the spots always flare up at the worst times.

OK guys, I see both you and Okie have the same technique.

Is this rocket science or can anyone do it. Frankly, I am a bit spooked, but I know my camera is DIRTY. I can see numerous spots in the RAW product and am mad at myself for letting it go this long.

Tony it's easy and more importantly SAFE.

Absolutely no concerns, follow the directions and you'll be fine. To err on the safe side just make sure you only use two drops of fluid on the swab as the only way you'll have any issues is if you completely soak the swab and leave moisture on the sensor.

Thanks guys and hate to beg ... but where is a good place to go to get the kit?

I have only shopped at B&H and have not even been there lately, except to look for a neutral density filter. Do they even carry cleaning supplies?
