alright,

I hit a small pipe in tall grass and put a small dent....maybe size of a silver dollar...about 1/2 deep....in my pro circuit pipe on the side. It's in plain view, easily accessible.

does anyone know of a way to pull out the dent?

does a dent this size affect performance much? I don't notice any difference that i can tell, but i'm not a super experienced rider either.

is drilling and pulling them welding the hole closed an option? :fft:

thanks for any input.

no, it should not do a thing, as long as it is on the side. that may seem like a big dent but it is not that bad. It should not affect the proformace at all.

I think DB magazine did a test on how much of a dent it took to start affecting performance. If I remember correctly...it took a sizable dent to alter Dyno results....I would just leave it alone....I'm sure it is only one of many to come if your ride in the rocks.

If you ever do decide to weld on a pipe just remember that it's full of flamable spooge. I have never seen one blow up but it might be possible. I did see one backfire and throw flames out of the end scaring the holy *!$@ out of my friend.
