Devol water pump Guards??

Does anybody know whre I could buy a Devol water pump guard for an 02 KDX200? Mx south is out of them. Any help would be appreciated

They don't have any listed or else I woulda suggested them! :laugh: But Hell... It'd be nothing to make... take you all of a half hour!

I just bought a Devol glide plate from Throttlehead (it wasn't on their website, I had to call) and it actually came with a waterpump guard in addition to the plate. If you were needing a glide plate it's a really good deal. It's also the only one I was able to find that had "wings" on them to help protect the side covers.

Well...Rockymountainmc does have many guards available from Devol but...it does not look like they have one for the 2002 KDX.
Here's the part numbers for:
KDX200/220 94-97 KD-0082
KDX200/220 01 KD-0082A

Either one is: $23.99 from www.rockymountainmc.com

Is there a difference between the 97 and the 02 model KDX????? I reckon it'll fit. :thumb:

Word of Caution. I have one on my WR, and while it will protect your pump it adds leverage to the mounting bolts allowing them to shear upon impact (NOT GOOD!). This being said (from personal experience) I would invest in a full skidplate that has the integrated water pump guard instead.

KDX's do have that built-in steel loop as a guard so the devol deal might not be that bad...Hey it looks perty!
