I took the forks out of the triple clamps, removed the fork tube cap, unscrewed the cap from the spring rod, pulled the spacer and spring out and dumped the oil. I pushed the spring rod all the way down and up a few times to make sure all oil drained out. Then I added new oil. The spring rod stayed in during the add process. I measured down 85mm and sucked out the excess oil. Then I buttoned it all back up. The spring rod didn't have to be removed...did it? [/QUOTE]
