difference between 00-01 RM125?

Alot of difference in terms of what they changed in 01 from 00.Strangely enough the bike was similar to all previous RMs-good power delivery thats easy to ride-harsh suspension IMO ,very quick steering,funny clutches.I would go for the 01 as its alot more modern.

I bought the 01 because they changed pretty much everything. The suspension is new, along with the carb and motor internals. I've also heard that the 02 is that much better. They worked on the low-mid-high ranges (all) and they also put the excel rims on the 02. Love the bike, I had a 92 prior to this one and have always like them. The clutch baskets are supposed to be weak but I don't race so I really haven't had a problem. Suspension is a little stiff but I softened it up and it works great. I also dropped the forks to about 5mm in the triple clamp, took away the headshake. Good luck

the 01 rm15's were way changed fom the othr ones, they actuall improvd! i rod the 2001 andtwas sweet:) i lked it alot, and this when the rm125's start getting good
