There were many bright spots for me during the MWSF. As I continue to bounce my head off things and memories float to the surface, I'll try to post them. One such fond memory: After administering a learnin' to me on the GP track with his TTR125, AJ and I were playing around on the MX track. With steeper hills, sharper turns, and deeper dirt, I was able to use my 4-to-1 power advantage to keep with him. As AJ was trying to grab my clutch while going uphill and I was trying to slap his front brake, MXTooner passed us on Speedy's RM125. At that point I said bye to AJ and took off after MXTuna. I stayed right behind him for a lap or two, but couldn't get past. Finally I decided to try to get by just after the finish line. Leading up to the finish line is a set of gentle whoops, followed by a left turn with about a 4-5 foot tall bank on the right side of the track. I cut to the inside of the turn and went for the pass. As I drifted out and pushed MXWhiner into the bank (unintentionally, of course :p) neither of us were giving up. As we're both still on the gas and he's beginning to dig into the bank, he starts yelling at me, IT'S NOT MY BIKE!! IT'S NOT MY BIKE!! Definitely one of the most enjoyable passes I've ever made. :)
