There were 3,500 DRN members...

Now just in the 4th year, there will be 30,000.

Wow.
Good thing everyone doesn't go to DW!
Just wait, I can see this being bigger than Sturgis,

First DW truck broke down on the way there and we missed it. Right then and there we promised not to miss another and haven't.
Worst part of missing- Sitting home all week wishing we were there then facing the next month of reading about how great it was.

Jared will be a Virgin, but the rest of us have been to 00 - 01 - 02 and soon to be 03. Should have seen the look on my wife's face when after starting a new job and dropping to 1 week of Vacation... I informed her that one week would be used for DW03.

She wasn't too upset.. she broke down an allowed me to take the little guy out of school for a week.

Great. Next thing ya know, we'll be funneling wheat grass smoothies and having tofu cook-offs while zio recites poetry. :moon:

Ah c'mon JP!  You forgot the fung shui tent arrangements , the raffle for the free Birkenstocks, and maybe a little sunrise yoga under the Big Top. ;)

I think we can all agree that some of zio's posts are poetry :)

My first DW.

Did the linkage and swingarm, new chain, putting in .38kg front springs and 4.8kg shock spring(Race Tech), new IMS pegs, and I'm ready to go.

When you're asking yourself "Is it me, or does ryanoa talk a little slow?", just remember where he's from. He's 30 now, and still coming down. It's like Cherynobl- everything looks fine years later, but there's still a bit of radiation lingering. Also worth noting- He likes his women natural, he subscribes to a knitting magazine, and he wants to live in a teepee. That pretty much sums it up.

Get ready, you midwesterners.... We're coming!

This is our first. It is suppose to be something you remember all your life, so be gentle and make it memorable. :moon:

And BTW as for as California, I know Nat lives there but I think she is part cajun. From the little I know she likes Cajun food and Drinks. So she is at least an honorary cajun. No Tofu and wheatgrass down here.

... And Jetzoomy (nephew Nathan), he's a trip. The kid has no self-esteem issues whatsoever. And I love him to death. He was my favorite toy in high school & college. I did stuff to him that would have given other mothers a stroke. We duck-taped him to all sorts of things- skateboards, one of those bubble-cars, etc, I used him to pick up chicks in the s' dorm, and in return he peed the bed whenever he spent the night.

I'm looking forward to the 24 hr. road trip with him crammed in the jumpseat in my little Toyota pickup. There's not much room back there, even less with my subwoofer. I could take it out, but we may want to bump a bit to some Pdiddy or Snoop-Dog on the way.

4th year in a row for me! :)

So Zio, are you bringing back up this year so you will have someone to do the talking for you? Or do you still plan to communicate with the rest of us from your tent via your laptop? :p

I plan on using body language. A smile will mean "Hi! How are you doing today?" A shrug means "I don't know", or "I didn't understand your question, but don't know how else to react". A dark spot on the front of my jeans menns "I'm a bit uncomfortable". And humping your leg means "I really like you, can we be friends?"
