Well, bugger me!

You don't by chance have a propeller attached to your cranium do you? ;)

Have your specs ever caused an injury? My eyes are crappy too, but I use contacts. They do get blurry if it's dusty, forcing me to back off and clear my eyes.

I have always been afraid to wear contacts when riding, prefer the glasses, you can take them off and wipe them off easier than contacts. Never thought about injury - sometimes I take my goggles off and feel better I have the eyeglass lenses in front of my eyes ( in the US most lenses are shatterproof))
