Hi, I have a 1992 RM250 and was wondering if these have a midvalve? The reason I am asking is that my forks have gotten very soft and I was wondering if maybe the midvalve shims are warped. Also what kind of oil do you run in these forks? :fft:

No, they just have a check valve return plate/spring. You should disassemble them and clean the base valve, you probably have some contamination holding some of the compression shims open. Use a good 5W oil when you refill them, the Honda oil for Showa/Kayaba is very good.
