ive owned an atv befor and im switching to a dirtbike ive never owned one before. i was thinking of getting the suzuki DR 200 SE. Im not planning on competing or anything just riding for fun. Any sugestions on what i should do?
thats what I want to get, i just went to a powersports location and looked at, it has both on and off road capabilities and it looks nice, so thats what i want
I bought a 2005 yesterday and love it. I can't wait until the break in period is over. It has everything I need to learn street (not interstate) riding. I have been riding dirtbike for 25 years and this machine excels off road. On the street it supposedly tops out around 70 - 75 MPH so I have read. I am still breaking her in and haven't got it up this fast - yet.
Before you buy however, seriously consider the Kawasaki KLR250. Although it doesn't have electric start, it has a bigger water cooled engine that will perfrom better on the street.
