*** This entire thread has been edited by BSWIFT. This is only for an example. Final rules for virtual meetings will need to be developed. ***

This thread will be used for nominating officers of Local Chapter 'Club Mod'. This thread will be open for nominations until Thursday, March 14th, 2002 at 5:00 pm. At which time a Poll will be started to vote on the nominees. The following elected positions are open for nominations: President, Vice-president, Secretary, and Treasurer. The board is open for nominations.

<<< Hind sight tells me that this thread should have been nominations for president ONLY. Then the next thread would be for voting of the presidential nominees. Thus, the elected president could conduct the rest of the meeting. >>>

:think Don't we need more than one person to be nominated so there can be a vote between them? This thread is for nominations, not voting.

RM_guy has the right idea, I think. The intent of the thread is to nominate. Then, once all of the nominations are in. A poll is to be created with all of the nominees and positions listed. Would there need to be seperate polls for each position?
I second the nomination of Justql for president.
