[QUOTE="Toby259, post: 1048726, member: 58082"] 2nd annual Armenia Dual Sport ride. This was awesome last year, and should be even better this year. Highly recommend DOT knobbies, much of the trail is challenging dirt event-only trail and singletrack. LOCATION: 8 miles northwest of Chester, SC. From Chester take Hwy 97 North & pick up arrows to start. From Rock Hill follow Hwy 322 South to Hwy 321 South; pick up arrows near Lowrys, SC. From Spartanburg take Hwy 9 East & pick up arrows near Lockhart, SC Start located at 2363 Armenia Road, halfway between Hwy’s 9 & 97. DESCRIPTION: One day 100± mile Dual Sport/Trail Ride on backcountry roads, woods roads and never before used trail. The course is rated medium challenging with cutouts and optional “Advance Sections”. Lunch is provided with entry fee. A gas stop (50 mile range required) is planned on the route. The course will be arrowed and route sheeted. Make sure you bring your route sheet holder. Street legal knobbies highly recommended. REQUIREMENTS: You must be an AMA member (available @ signup). Your street legal Dual Sport bike must be equipped with a USFS approved spark arrestor. Required technical inspection will check for spark arrestor, working headlight/tail light and sound @ 92dbA @20”. We will check. Sorry, no pass, no ride, we will refund. Sound is our enemy and we plan not to make any new enemies. Leave the baffles in on those converted street legal XR’s, TTR’s, CRFX’s, WR’s, etc. This is not a race or enduro w/o checkpoints.
