Please excuse the dumb question...It's been a couple decades since I did any major work on a dirt bike.

Getting ready to reassemble my YZ and there's a difference between the stock clutches and the EBC aftermarkets I bought.

The stockers are shown here:

they do not have a notch in the friction plate flanges.


The EBCs DO have notches in the friction plates on opposite sides of
the plate, unlike the stockers. The notches look similar to this rather crude pic:

I take it it's okay to have the notches, right? Just make sure they're all lined up?

If the aftermarket is for the YZ and its year and model I don't see a reason why it shouldn't.... unless they are some kind of universle cluth replacement.

other than that..reassemble them and see what happends. I use the stock plates in my YZ..
