hey, has anyone else seen Dust to Glory yet? I just rented it tonight -- it just came out on dvd this week. Some great footage of the baja 1000. Its made by Dana Brown, whose dad made On Any Sunday, back in the day, just in case you didn't know. Let me know what you think of it.. Makes you want to head out on a desert ride and go WOT!

It made me think of buying an XR 650.

The camera work in this film was excellent.

Its the perfect off road film for those of us that just dont need to see a new Crusty Video. No bad language or Naked people. Racing at its best.

Do Trophy Trucks REALLY cost 3 million????

I rented it last night too. Great bike movie. I was impressed with what the camera man on the bike went through to film from the bike. I was pretty impressed with the XR650, seems like a real decent ride.

Another plus is the fact you don't have to chase the kids or parents out because of content. I really loved the scene of the heliocopter following the bike down the coast line. First class work in my book!

Watched it this weekend with my son Connor and a few of his friends.

We loved it!

Any movie that can keep a bunch of 10-year olds (and a 42 year-old who still acts like a 10-year old) glued to their seats without countless interruptions for candy and soda has to be great. Dust to Glory is just that.

In fact I just finished watching it; I bought it. I can't belive they don't close off the coarse to the public. I also thought that when a that spectator died was very very sad. I also love how those trophy trucks sound.

I herd from $200,000 to $2,000,000 for the trophy trucks.

Eccellent movie, at ad bit boring for the fist 10min.

Being from Tennessee I'm not terribly interested in sand dunes and such, but what an awesome movie this is! How bout the guy who did the whole 1000 miles buy himself! Was his name Mouse something....?

Video stores around me hadn't heard of it. I can get a copy from the auction site near the bay for about 30 bucks. Anybody know where I might find it cheaper?
