Electrofusion/Iron bore

I thought that if a magnet would stick to the cylinder it is an iron sleeve, but now I was todl that electrofusion will also attract a magnet. How can i tell if its plated for sure.

You should be able to see if the cylinder has a sleeve installed in it,look at the bottom,top of the cyl or even at the intake or exhaust ports to see if there is a sleeve.The sleeves are usually around a 1/8" thick and you can see the difference between the sleeve and the cylinder material,the plating is fairly thin and you bairly see the coating.

Another way is to check out Wiseco's website. Look for your bike information on the parts page and it will tell you the specs on your cylinder.

I'm pretty sure that my KDX175 wasn't electrofusion, so I would assume yours isn't. But don't quote me on that.
