Finally bought an enduro computer to play with. I'm trying to install it on a '02 YZ250F. The instructions on the website say to drill and tap a mount hole thru the front brake caliper for the sensor and mount the magnet on the front brake disc. The picture of the caliper/disc on the website looks nice, however my Yamaha brake setup does not look like I can do the same thing.

Any hints/help or opinions would be very helpful!

Thanks,
Robert

Sometimes you have to be creative to get it to mount properly. You might want to contact Watchdog directly before trying anything though.

I made a L bracket that goes under the axle pinch bolts. Then covered the entire thing with clear silicone.

I drilled and tapped the the brake caliper holder/carrier for the Watchdog pickup on my '00 426. Unless the setup has changed for '02, there is enough room to mount it.

As Jeff mentioned, you can alternately mount an L bracket (necessary if I were to try and mount it on a Kawasaki).
