Is there a website that has the schedule of all the enduro's. I would like to run a few enduro's in Michigan. I looked on the AMA website and they show only 1 enduro in Michigan. There has to be more enduro's than that in Michigan.

You need to look on the District 14 website. From there, you will find another website dedicated to District 14 Enduros. Try to find the District 14 website link from the AMA site. I'm sorry that I can't remember the exact address. It's something like D-14.org.

Good luck finding it. There's some other Michigan guys on this board, maybe they will reply and give the correct address.

D14 Schedule (not official)

Thes are the dates of the D14 enduros that I'm aware of for the 2002 season:

April 7 - Roselawn, IN
June 23 - Marquette, MI
August 4 - Jackpine (MI)
August 25 - Roselawn, IN
September 8 - Traverse City, MI
October 13 - Upland, IN
November 3 - Goshen, IN

There's also the National -- don't know when that is, though...

National enduro in MI

The National enduro will be on August 11th in Harrison.

Magoo, I have the race in Marquette on my calendar. I would like to help your club with this race in 2002.

Two Roselawns in 02?

Hey Magoo!

Whats a D-16 guy doin with a D-14 schedule already? Ive been tryin to find one for a couple weeks and no luck! (guess I should of posted a message here huh!)

Is that a typo with two Roselawn races? I noticed there was no Rose City or Wolverine - do you know if those are "pending"? That schedule does leave July free of races - looks like thats gonna be vacation time for me and the family.

I am actually planning on a short ride tomorrow - we only have about 1 inch of snow. I never would of thought of a ride on 12/22 in Northern MI! Hows the snow up in da UP?

Take care and have a great X-Mas

Hey KTM Mike! I've been following your questions re suspension work...I'll be interested to hear what you do and how it works for you.
The schedule (I got from Nick Z), is what I scratched down on a piece of paper in a hurry one day. I'm pretty sure there's gonna be two Roselawn races. For some reason, I think there's gonna be nine races in D14 in 2002 (scoring the best 7 for district points). It very well could be that I missed, or don't have, some of the race dates/locations. When I get a "confirmed" schedule, Ill post it for you.
I think I'll be running both D16 and D14 next year. Since D16 has very few races next year, I think it'll be fun to see how I fare in D14. I ended up third place in Senior B in D16 last year! I hope I can do as well in D14....:think
I've ridden the last two weekends here in Esky. No snow at all. The enduro trail in Mqt is under 6 to 12 inches of snow... it's weird, no snow in Marquette or Gwinn, but Crossroads area is still covered in the white stuff from the only storm we've had (about a month ago). I really want to go thru my bike, so I bit the bullet and just took it down to the basement this week.
Hope to see you at the races this year again! It was great to see you out there having so much fun! I still crack up at how much fun I have!
I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas, and a safe and prosperous New Year!
See Ya at the D14 enduros-- and, hopefully, on a fun ride or two!

oh oh... nick z as the source...hmm dunno about that one:)

I will let you know when i dig into the suspension...no real hurry now.

you did great 3rd place! Congrats! I ended up at 10th in C Senior - per our points keeper it would have been 8th but they screwed up points from Upland and did not even show i raced it! oh well...

I plan on the 'Moose for sure, and most all of the D-14 events as well - I am sure I will see you around!

Mike and Magoo,
I have talked to Alan R. and there will NOT be an enduro in Wolverine this year. He (and his volunteers) are taking a break this year.

Twice the nudies???:p I heard something about the race route near a nudist camp... i take it that is true? Sounds like a "must do" race!

Is Roselawn much different than Upland (Upland is the only Indiana race I have done - dont think I saw a single whoop, only saw endless slimey clay mud and muck!

The first and last test sections run through the Sun Aura (clothing optional) Resort aka Naked City. The residents and campers aren't much to look at, but there are some good stories about all the freaky things witnessed out there. ;)

There are no "killer" obstacles at Roselawn. It's 100% rideable and a true "timekeeping" enduro. Lots of sand whoops in some sections and you better practice log crossings.
