Does anybody use Engine Ice coolant? Does it work? It claims to decrease engine temp. 50 degrees. I was having some problems with my bike getting hot on the trails.

I use Engine Ice. It works as advertised near as I can tell. No overheating issues on my 520 with the blue stuff in it.

Have you had problems before switching? I never had problems on the the track or on wideopen trails. I just had this problem on the evart trail. I couldn't go fast enough to keep the radiator cool. :ride:

Seems like I did have a little overheating (overflow more likely) but switched to the blue juice right away so not much testing without it. Afterwards, had zero overheating issues including 99 degree days trials riding on new Tomahawk trail sections (1st gear, clutch slipping stuff).

i use the ice. still builds pressure on tech trails. i have the uni guards and I speculate they restrict airflow somewhat.

Tight Tomahawk?

Where are there trails in the tomahawk system tight enough to require 1st gear? I rode there memorial day and all 3 loops at the Phiu Bean CCC weekend.

That would be the new sections on the B Loop before there was an actual trail on the ground (just ribbon freshly hung).
