How do I adjust the exhaust bridge clearance if necessary? I don't want to gouge a piston again so I'm going to be checking my bridge clearance and if it's insufficient, I don't know how to adjust.

How do I adjust the exhaust bridge clearance if necessary? .

You can't adjust the exhaust bridge clearance without welding it up and reboring the cylinder. The exhaust bridge wears quicker than the rest of the cylinder so there is usually no problem with not enough clearance. The problem is too much wear due to the lack of support area on the bridge.
