exsahst valve rod conecter on '02 rm125

Im trying to change the top end on my 2002 rm125 I have to take off the rod conecter and I have no idea how to get it off. my owners manual doesn't even tell me how to take it off and im confused as hell. Please help me if anybody have the same bike as me.

It is held on with a little plastic clip that snaps together. If you are very careful you can pry it open with a small bladed screw driver. Look closely at it and you can see how it snaps together. They are easy to break when you remove them so have an extra one on hand and if it looks damaged in anyway, replace it.
