I bought this 1994 KDX200 about a year ago and have ridden it 4-5 times. I'm a novice rider but enjoy it. I just learned that the factory silencer is completely empty...there's nothing inside of it! I just ordered an FMF silencer from Ebay to replace it with as a friend of mine told me that it will cut down the noise significantly and likely improve power. This thing already has more power than I need...what will I notice about the power with the new silencer??
Oh yeah....the way I found out is that the bike kept "spooging" a lot of oil out of the bottom of the silencer canister...it ended up being a hole where one of the original rivets was located but was removed to take everything out of the silencer.
