I stumbled across a filter that works great for the transmission breather hose . Hopefully yours goes into the air box.
Go buy a NAPA 3011 filter " clear " and cut off the end right after the filter element, this will leave the other end with a 5/16 nipple that fits nice and tight into the vent hose. The filter lays nice and neat next to the air filter. With an air box modification this is pretty cheap insurance for $4.00 . :cool:
