My name is James. I am buying a 2005 YZ250 for myself and my girlfriend is purchasing a YZ85. I have had a built banshee for a while but now want something thats rideable more places and two wheels.

Cool and welcome to the sport. Get your girlfriend to post on here in the women's forum! Have either of you ridden much before, or was it just quads?

I have ridden a friends 250 before. But my riding was mainly by built banshee. it was built for top end and was quite peaky(if thats a word) any advice?

girlfriend ridden 80 before but not a whole lot

girlfriend has already joined as half pint. Just picked up my 05 YZ250 today. cant wait until saturday to ride

I haven't been on the kdx forum since Canadian Dave first hosted the site in 1996. A lot has changed since then and I am looking forward to swapping stories and hop up secrets.
