This is my first venture into the unknown regions of fork oil changing and maintenance. I ride a DRZ400E and am wondering if I have to remove the forks from the triple clamps to do the oil change (since the DRZ uses a conventional-style fork as opposed to a USD front suspension setup), or can I leave them in place and change the oil from there. As well, do you recommend me taking the forks apart to clean and inspect, or just flush out the fork tubes, change the oil, and call it quits? Finally, are there any other recommendations that you could offer, that would make my journey a bit easier, as well as, more successful and complete?
