fmf pipe

hi all I was wondering if any one can tell me if I put a fmf pipe on my bike do I need to put a fmf silincer as well. the reason I am puting a pipe on is my stock one is toast and I bought a used pipe for cheap.I cant seem to find a used silincer. thanks for the help
