My son was just excepted as a 2000 fmf support rider. They are giving a 35% discount on items they require you to race with. Has anyone else been excepted, is it worth it, and is this a big deal?

It all helps

With the costs involved with racing any help is appreciated.
With the exception of the very top echelon of riders, most all sponsorship is discounted prices with some free stuff thrown in at times.

It's a good deal :)

Nope, they support riders that don't race too. I think you must bee a good rep for the company. I don't bother to get sponsored though because at my level, you don't get much support and I get more of a discount from the local dealer that I would direct from the manufacturer.

I applied to fmf also but without any luck. in the email it said we were happy to see you use fmf/909 products and your stands help us make our desistion but due to the fact you live in Canada we are unable to sponser due to the fact alot of our consumers live in the states. Since then I have decided to not buy fmf any more to extreme maybe maybe not. But I'm not to concerned as I am a sponsered rider with my dealer and get a 40% off all parts and clothing over 100$
