2000 RM 125. im cleaning the carb tonight and gonna put it back toghter tomorrow after its been soaking in some parts cleaner, well i have a fmf pipe and the site says to go down a step on the main but for the pilot is says N/A, any idea what the number would be? the carb has a 50 pilot in it right now and the needle is the 3rd from the top which is stock setting.

i have been having a problem with the bike idling at the stock idle position. to correct that i just went a few clicks opening it up.

i am pretty much on sea level, i live on the shoreline here in MASS. 32:1

this pretty much what iv found out, fouling at low rpm and warm up or trouble starting, you go smaller on the pilot

foul at high rpm go smaller main

if the bike is bogging down when throttle is opend up quicky move the clip depending if its bogging from rich or lean. if rich move the clip down from the top, if lean move the clip up towards the top. i am guessing you cant really tell this unless you actually use trial and error. or is there a distinctive sound a lean or rich bog will make?

stupid me steped on the float, it twisted a little, i aligned it back up, think i should get another one, im gonna try and meashure it when i wake up. it moves freely in the carb. i tested that by just rotating it and seeing if it would jam it its ok.

168 main
50 pilot
needle second clip

This is Pro Circuits recommended setting for your bike with a pipe. Keep in mind that these are ball park and your tuning may be different...

where did you find that? i went to the pro circuit site and couldnt see it

This is just a good reference place, your bike may respond differently. We can't work on every bike out there but shops like PC do.

I generally find that their specs are pretty good.
