Hey Guys & girls

I have used the search but can not find anything on fork oil.Can someone please help.
How much oil do you put in the forks on 91 kdx 200s

The standard oil level is 140 +- 2 mm
The adjustable range is 110 to 170 mm
This is using an oil level guage.

If you don't have one the volume is 618 +- 4 mL

Putting in 'x' amount doesn't tell you how much you have IN when you're done. That's the plus of checking the fork using the oil level idea.

Unless your forks have been completely disassembled for service, the addition of a specific amount of oil doesn't work too well.

I was just quoting the service manual. Thanks for mentioning that I forgot about the left over oil in the fork. Another thing you can do is drain the oil and measure how much came out and replace it with the same ammount.

Thanks guys for the info.
I'm putting new seals in so they will be dismantled so I'll check how much comes out of the good fork.
Just wanted to find out in case the last owner didn't put the right amount in.
