Best Reeds for the KDX

Hi Guys,

What are the best reeds for trail riding? Does a rad value make a substantial difference to performance.

Weird topic name ("Fork saver"). Ive got the Vforce 2 reed age and it livens up the throttle response dramatically. Worth the $$$'s

I also have a DFII and like kay dee exer said, it is well worth the money.

The concensus is that the DFII is the hot ticket, although I bought my 200H with a RAD valve on it (I also received the stock reed valve the previous owner had taken off). I put the old stocker setup on just to compare. The RAD valve was way snappier and more responsive than the stock reeds. It's a pretty significant difference. I've never ridden a KDX with a DFII so I can't give you a comparison there.
