i was wondering if anyone has got away with running 46mm fork seals on 47mm forks. im really liking the factory connection fork seals that are thicker with a thinner back washer but it seems they only come in the 46mm size.

I would get the correct size. If you want your seals to last longer then get some seal savers that slip over your forks and prevent stuff from getting in the seals.
