fork seals

i have just bought a kdx 250 and the fork seals need replacing i went down and bought a pair of fork seals for a kdx 250 but just realized that the forks are after market. will my fork seals i just bought still fit? or how do i check the size i will need?

Forks are after-market?!??
Oh well, easiest way is to pull up the dust caps on the top of the forks to reveal the fork seals & you should find 3 measurements (ie; 50x40x8) Seal OD, ID & thickness. Should be easy for shop to match something up.
