Fork spring question.

I've heard how much better aftermarket spring ride than facory models, even of the same weight. with everything else being equal, how is it possible for two springs with the same mm/kg ratin to "feel" different? This, of course, does not include progressive rate springs. Any input woul be appreciated.

I'm not sure where you've gotten your info Gordo, but I've never heard of aftermarket springs(of same weight) making a bike ride better.........I think someones pulling your leg.
