Are you sure that you want .42's? I'm 215 lbs, and race hare scrambles in the expert class and factory connection had me use .43's (stock valving), and its very good( I won my class with it yesterday). I just think you are to heavy for .42's. Tim

Tim, you may be right. But, I am afraid of going to stiff as I do mostly slow trail blasting/woods exploring. MX-Tech said I needed .45's. What is funny is that I have stock suspension now and have great control at slow and moderate speeds in some very tough terain. Do you think I will like the .45's?

If you are doing mostly slow trail balsting/woods exploring then go with the softer rate. .42 or .43. Maybe the .45's would be stiff for you in the slow stuff. Tim

Thankx for the feedback. I'll be going w/FRP's reco to .38kg or maybe .40kg if I race for points. Probably sell the 45kg springs

Rich ......
I baught Race Tech .42's when I was 185#. Now I'm under 170# and they're too stiff. Even on hard hits with the clicker set soft, it's not using the full travel. The .40's would probably be best now. The .38's may be too soft.

I found that most sites list Motocross setting not woods, I am 175 and run the 38's with the comp set at 14 works nice for harescrambles, Had 41's and almost beat me to death
