Any body know what the valve body in the bottom of the KDX forks should be torqued to? I have a photo copy of torque specs from the shop manual, but don't see this on there.
With my cheap Chinese electric impact wrench I just go until it tightens it up and impact bumps it (for lack of a better description) a couple of times and it's good to go. I've never had a problem with stripping it out and I've had them out several times.
What I did was set my air impact on a lower setting, and hit it until it started to cinch up. I then took my torque wrench and tightened it up to around 35 ft-lbs. I was just wondering if anyone knew the actuall torque spec for it. How tight did the rest of you guys make it?
