Forks seem to stick after sitting

I just had forks redone on my rmz450. I haven't had a chance to ride yet so the bike has been sitting on the stand a few days. When I pulled it off the stand to test the action of the forks, they seemed to be stuck. After jumping up and down on the seat they loosened up, but made sort of a squeaky sound. I hit the air bleeders and released some air and it might have helped a little, but every time I bounce up and down 10 or 15 times, there is air buildup that I am able to release from the bleeder screws. Is this normal? Why would this be happening, and why would the forks sort of stick after sitting for a while?
Thanks.

More than likely there isn't enough oil in the outer tubes to lubricate the bushings, since you have not road the bike.

As far as the air build up. Did you have the fork seal replaced.
Even though fork seals do not leak (oil) warn seals can allow air to be drawn in.
I just had this happen on a KTM 505. THe forks got real harsh in a lap or too they were building up some good air pressure.
After the seal replacement everything was fine.

Have you checked that the front axle is centralized correctly. The forks sometimes stick on the right hand side of the axle causing the lower part of the fork to be splayed apart or pulled together.Loosen the right hand pinch bolts and compress the forks as far as you can and see if the pinched sectin moves.
