Hi All,
Am posting for a friend, he is 5 7" and has been playriding for a few years on a kx125 and a tm125 both of which are too tall for him.He has sold his bike and is on the lookout for a new steed! What to buy? I have changed to a gasgas250 and a tm250 enduro for grasstrack and beginner HareandHounds...would a kdx be a good move for him? What would it be like to ride compared to his kx125? Any Ideas as to why he should or should not buy a kdx???? Cheers.

Grass track as in the off shoot of speedway? Anyway, the KDX will be a bit shorter and not nearly as peaky. A much freindlier and forgiving power band. Also the suspension is more suited for off road conditions then the KX. The enduro version of the TM125 maybe about equal or perhaps even a slight more versitle then the KDX, but its not anything that cant be be fixed with minimal investment. Maintenance of the KDX is less too. Although I have heard the TM's are quite durable. Overall the KDX will serve him well for many years as his skill and height grows. The KDX's are truly one of the best dirt bikes for the common man...or woman

Cool....would he be bored with the power as he is pretty nifty on the 125?
