We dynoed the MRX01 vs the Ultimate 4 and were suprised by the results. The U4 is run 17 and the MRX01 is run 13.

Here's what I used to run MR-2 and Exxon93 50/50 run 23 vs the Ultimate 4 run17.

The ultimate 4 is very impressive considering it's price and is much cheaper and performed better than the MRX01. It's motor octane is a bit low so when I test it at the track i'll watch out for the pings. I'll just mix a bit of MR2 or MRX01 to bring it up. Looks like no more 50/50 with pump fuel for me!!! :thumb:

Here's our best run of the day and it was hot 80 and humid. With cooler weather i'm sure we would have cracked 38hp with no problem. The bike is an 03cr139 big bore. A touch more over rev and i will be happy. The shortened FMF factory fatty will give it just that or the std. Bills. This pipe is the PC with a shorty and so far feels best on the track.

Thanks
Seat of the pants feel with U4 was good for us but we had a tad bit of detonation at Hi RPM. I used some VP red to tame it a tad.

Again thanks for sharing dyno info.

Mike I'll be ready to do the same if necessary. I'll bet in a stock 2 stroke the Ultimate 4 will rock.

interesting! btw, a bloke told me yesterday that he knows some dudes that race 80's at the top level and after porting and polishing their bikes they put them on the dyno and the race fuel was 2hp down on the pump fuel, so you guys are obviously wasting your time and money using this race gas! :silly:

Sigh ....another week that I'll have to bring my imaginary friend to the track so I have someone to talk to while I watch the kid race. :moon:

I just started using U-4.
Heading to an outdoor SX style track tomorrow.

anything that I need to watch out for?
My clip pos. is leaned by one,all other jets are stock.

Should I put it back to the stock setting's before I ride?

Thank You for the wealth of info too, on your dyno runs :worship:

Whyz, when using the Ultimate 4 your jetting will lean a bit. So things to watch out for are decel popping or high and a surging idle. If this happens turn your fuel screw "out" (richen)  1/8 to1/4 turn at a time untill symptoms are gone. Next is your main jet, keep an eye on your plug reading and be ready to go up 1-2 sizes. This fuel runs real clean so the plug may look very white or too lean when it's not, so try to read the fuel ring instead of just plug color. If I were just to guess at this point on what you should do. It would be go up 1 size on the main and needle back to stock. Then make your fuel screw adjustments at the track if need be. My guess the bike will run real well with this setup.  Let us know how it runs.

I stayed with the same PJ/40 and the clip at #3 from the top. FS was at 1 1/4 out.
The MJ I went up 1 from stock.

At the track.
The FS was set at 1 turn out with no popping at all, but, felt lean so I turned it out to 1 3/4 and it was moocho better. Response/performance = great.

I had the stock exhaust on with the PN mod/P-38 on as well.
I will be putting the DR.D system back on and taking out the PN and see.
There were dyno's at TT with the PN mod showing 1-2 HP loss up top.
So if U-4 adds HP I should have more without the PN,,somewhere,,
Taking out the PN today and riding a tight track to see if I lose any response down low.
And thanks for the jetting tip too. :)
It really helped me on what to look for.
