Hi. I have a couple of questions that I was hoping someone might be able to help me out with. I am in the process of rebuilding the top end on a 1987 Yamaha BW80. It has the auto oil injection system on it, but I was wondering if I should add any oil to the fuel in the tank, just until I get it broke-in? Do I need to do this? Would this give me some extra protection, or make it worse on the motor?
Also, the bike just got re-bored .020 over & I was wondering if it's "normal" to go up on any of the jets in the carb.? Do you normally have to change any jets when you go up too a bigger bore? Thanks in advance... JT2Fast4u

You shouldn't need to add any extra oil in the gas. The injectors on that bike already put more than enough. If you are worried about it, just mix the gas 100:1 for the first tank.

With an overbore that small, you may not need to change your jetting. Usually on bigbores, if you do have to change the jetting, you usually go down on the jets due to the increased signal.
