How do I "optimize" my photos (I have too many of the wrong type, I guess)? Is .jpg the best format? Are there better ones?

Simple minds want to know! :confused:

from what i understand, jpg is the most compact format. bmp is hudge. you can change types by openins with mspaint and then "saving as" the desired format.

Pred - Grab Irfanview. http://www.irfanview.com/english.htm It's a really nice freware program that will allow you to convert, resize and compress various formats to JPG.
