Ganaraska Forest Ontario, Canada

I am going to be in that area with my bike on the weekend and heard that I can not ride in the park there with out insurance and an ORV plate. Any body know anything about that, is it true?. If so is there something I can do on a temporary basis (I live in Texas)?

This is most true. Insurance and plate definitely required. I ride there every weekend as I'm local to the area..
I will however note that the forest is not policed by the local municipal law enforcement but only by members of the forest. Here is the web site that will detail all info including dealing with those who do not follow the rules of the forest.

all southern Ontario'ians are extremely lucky to have a place like Ganaraska. Probably the best ride I have ever had. Wish I could have stayed much longer.
