Making VERY small adjustments to it will eliminate the problem IF it is not from crap in the carb. There is another possibility but very doubtful as I've only seen it happen on the little Mikuni carbs where the float bowl drain which has an "overflow tube" attached get's over tightened and leaks a bit.
