Gas Tank Liner in Plastic Tank?

I've restored a few old dirt bikes for extra $$$. Since these are not new bikes, I can't buy graphics for them. I've been cutting my own with pretty good success, but after the first tank of gas, inevitably, fuel vapors leach though the tank and "bubble up" the graphics material. I thought of trying a tank liner or liquid sealer that is normally used for metal tanks. Anybody have any experience with this? If not, how about some opinions. Thanks in advance.

Just a different idea you might want to try. My buddy's dad's XR250 had the stock graphics bubble and peel so bad that he needed to replace them. He got some ones from Factory Effex that are a little different. They have holes through out them. There are some small bubbles in the new graphics but in like 2 years, it hasn't ripped or done anything of that sort. They seem to be pretty effective in allowing the vapors to escape from inside the tank while keeping the graphics from bubbling up. And they look pretty nice too. Just an idea.
