Recently while removing the inner clutch cover to retrive a pv actuator nut, the spring that goes on the end of the shift linkage came off. As I did not intentionally remove it I am not too sure how it goes back on. It has 2 legs coming off of it,one with a bend in it. Anyone have ane idea how it is installed? I have put it on the way that I think it goes and the bike seems to shift but I would like to make sure. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks Keith

The two legs on the spring goes on the outside of the pin on the shifter fork.
When installed, the legs sould be parallel to each other.
While moving the shift lever up and down, the should be equal force applied by the spring.
