Getting a new bike, but what kind? Help

Do you compete in motocross or just ride the tracks? There are more bikes than just pure motocrossers that may fit your needs.

I like your thoughts of the honda 450, your size I believe is going to demand a big bore motor to have an all around single bike. I am 230 pounds so I'm not small by any means and I like too much power instead of not enough. I do like the crf450, but the fuel tank is so small and if your woods riding it doesn't come with a kickstand or lights. Do you want a long range bike? Have you considered the KTM 520?? I myself won't go near a yamaha 250F or 426F until they "magic button" that blue leg breaker. As far as set up plan on respringing the front and rear if you ride aggressive. Mainly over all when you get the bike you want just have fun on it and learn what mods it needs from riding it in certain situations................keep us updated on your final choices as they come along..........:aj:

You can also look into the Husky 360 if you dont mind getting a two stroker. I'm around 6'.1"-6'.2" feet tall and I use to weigth around 255 pounds (now down 30 pounds since started riding) and the bike performed great. For your size you will need to change the suspension but, for wath I can see, in the States its less expensive to get replacements for european bikes than where I live. Good Lock

Check out the 2002 Cannondales. The suspension is awesome right off the floor, power is super smooth, electric start, and my "E440 " weights about 265 lbs with 2 gallons of fuel. Plus you get a lot of good stuff for the money. hand guards, skid plate, liquid clutch, DID wheels, O-Ring chain, no-tool air filter, Magura bars, Nissin brakes, Fuel Injection so it won't flood when dumped, optional engine mapping and the list goes on.

Anyways, it's something to consider.
