As many Northeast riders are coming out of hibernation, I was wondering what I could do to get in riding shape besides riding. Today I ran 3/4 of mile then I ran some steps. My legs felt like jello. I know soon as I get out there I'm going to get some nasty arm-pump. What type of work out would help?
I'm doing the same thing running on my new treadmill to get my endurance up better than last year. I lift weights too, but I can't right now because I got a nasty stiff neck. I seem to get one every year or so.
Yea dude, Im coming out of hibernation here too, Maine. Trying to get into shape for riding season. I do cardio and weights, also sit ups/curls,push ups, anything, oh also eat healthy.
