If you go to one of the other superbly run forums on this site you will see my most recent post - Throttle control for xr100r can this be done ! Okay, I may have misjudged the power in the XR100R, I got it for my daughter for Christmas and it is way to much power. She is a big 10 but when riding an XR70 was very cautious and never tried to really push the bike - never fast never crazy. Is there a throttle control similar to the screw preventing the throttle grip being turned to far on the KLX110 and various other bikes that can be bought and fit the XR100. Christmas is tomorrow and before my wonderful daughter ends up on the ground in pain what can I do to prevent to much throttle response. 105 pounds and what adjustment will allow slow speeds for no wheelie when the clutch get dropped. See I have a lot to learn. Their safety comes first - please if you know something Post it. I am working 16 days straight after Christmas day and am worried since she won't be riding when I am there that I have got to stop her from even attempting to get on. If any one knows if there is a simple mod tell me and I will do it,this way she gets used to a clutch and not the power. Thanks, :scream:
