Just wondering advantage disadvantage to running a high or low bar? Or is it just a matter of preference.

I got a couple kx125s and one has protaper cr bend and the other stock. I really like the feel of the protapers. I mostly ride mx (for fun not so much competitive). Now im thinking of going with a higher bar on the other bike too.

What do you run/perfer?

Sorry didnt really know where else to post this....seemed pretty general to me ;)

With CR-High bend bars I felt like I had better leverage but my hands/arms wore out less with CR-Mids.

Ape-hangers rock on smooth straights, but suck in the turns.

Its a comfort thing. I'm 6'2 running Protaper Windham bend. Also have the height bumped up a little by the under bar Scotts mount.

^I agree i think its more of a comfort/personal preference thing. I'm 5'6" and usually stock or lower bars. It seems to make the bike feel smaller which fits me better.

Im running the Pro Taper Windham mid height bars and they are pretty good, I had to take 3/4 of an inch off each side forthe corners.
