Handlebar question

I would like to replace my original steel handle bars on my 1980 yz465 with some aluminum lower profile aftermarket bars, will modern handlebars fit on this old bike?

As long as the clamps fit. Most moderns are either 7/8 inch or the new fatbars of which I am not sure of the thickness. If your old bar is 7/8 then any modern 7/8 should bolt right up.

Those bars are 7/8" stock. As long as it still has the stock top triple clamp and it probably does, just get a set of 7/8" bars and you'll be fine. My favorites are the Renthal 971 bend bars.
