what about the lower gears? what exactly is a hard time to shift - false nuetrals, difficult lever movement, gringing? give me some more info.

it does seem to be more in the higher gears 4 to 6

its hard to shift cuz the lever just wont move in to the next gear there is no grindin or anythin

and i hav never used the clutch really just back off the gas for a split second and any bike should shift fine

that's not necessarily true- maybe for a factory sponsored rider whose mechanic is splitting his cases after every race but not for the recreational rider - and now you may now be reaping the negative fruits of not cluching....does the bike ever "jump" out of gears? something to me sounds to be wrong with the shift drum and shift forks - they may be bent. if the lever physically won't move, the more you force on it the worst its going to get. Plus if the bike starts jumping out of gears, the dogs will wear. I'd start by checking the external shift star (on the back side of the drum under the clutch cover) - if its not worn is any real visible way, I'd keep digging and be inclined to split the cases and check...especially since you don't clutch.

have you first tried different tranny oil? this is not likely the cause unless you just changed it and this happened.

isolated shifting problems (like just one 2 gears) are usually the signs of a worn or wearing tranny.
