Hart Park - CA

Does anyone know if there is an area to camp at Hart Park in the Bakersfield, CA area?

I thought Hart Park was closed down? You are talking about the area they call 'the old dump', right?

Heck, for all I know Hart Park IS closed.

I'm talking about the area by Hart Park where everyone rides. Not sure if it's truely "Hart Park", but I know it's right by it. Most people used to park by the gas station and ride all over.

Few friends and I are planning on a stay this weekend in the desert...Dove Springs specifically. We thought we may try Hart if there is camping (much closer to Fresno where we are coming from).
